A very informative video.
Rule #1 – “Talking to the police can never help!”. The professor asks the cop how many times he has approached a suspect with evidence towards arrest, and then decided not to arrest based upon the conversation and information provided by the suspect. “You know the answer to that.” The cop retorts.
The second half, the cop gets up to speak and agrees with everything the professor just said.
From an libertarian academic perspective, Rothbardians will note the cop’s comment near the end noting that the victim has no role or input in the prosecution of a felony – – it is entirely within the control of the state. Does that sound like “justice” to you?
