Judge Belvin Perry: Tryant and Free Speech Violator
In another story close to my home in Orlando, Judge Belvin Perry continues his reign of tryanny and lawlessness. My friend Mark Schmidter was arrested during the Casey Anthony trial for exercising his free speech and handing out pamphlets educating people about their rights as jurors (FIJA organization)
Perry created the new law, ruled against Mark for violating, and sentenced him – – essentially serving as judge, jury, and executioner. http://www.examiner.com/article/judge-dredd-alive-and-well-florida
The update this week is while Mark’s appeal continues to proceed, Judge Perry has ordered him to serve his 6 month prison sentence now. And this is despite (or directly because of) the fact that one of his other appeals helped find Judge Perry’s “free speech zone” unconstitutional.
